I care about who my designs are aimed at, on a deep level.
In my third year at university, I did a project that required me to research the impact of using all of the senses during play therapy for children. I then had to incorporate these findings into a design project where I saw how design could have a profound and lasting impact on the person engaging with it.
This fascinated me so much that I even chose to focus on this for my fourth year thesis. I’ve always wanted to get back to a place where my design can have an impact beyond aesthetics and marketing – to truly engage, enrich and empower whoever encounters it.
