Multidisciplinary Information & Marketing Designer
Head of Store Design / Signage

We are a very small team that does everything related to design and marketing in a retail environment. OBC has over 90 stores nationwide and is growing exponentially.

Over the last 3 years I have been assigned and enjoyed the role as head of signage/store design – this entails working closely with the project managers/draftsmen, franchisees and signage companies.

Since we are a very small team my other responsibilities span everything to do with what the company looks like, inwards and public facing.

They include: 

  • Facilitating and guiding external designers and our external production team
  • Packaging Design
  • Web and social media design
  • National and store specific promotions and campaigns
  • Co-Creative direction on nationwide marketing campaigns and their implementation
  • Other physical marketing such as billboards and vehicles

 

When I started I inherited a somewhat outdated CI and, throughout the years, the marketing department (including myself) has tried to modernise and simplify the aesthetic while still speaking to OBC’s unique audience. However, since our franchisees’ and shareholders’ aesthetic sensibilities never matched my own, showing work I did for them wouldn’t be the best reflection of my own style and design choices so I refrained from including work I’ve done for them in my portfolio. 

Majeur Creative Studio

Co-founder / Freelancer

All the work in my portfolio is work that was done through Majeur. I started this full service design company / freelance offering in partnership with a web developer. We’ve only taken on word-of-mouth clients and only when we have capacity, but it’s a place where we channel some of our creativity.
